The Robotarium team conducted several experiments, including flying quadcopters able to change formation without crashing into each other.

Robotarium’s main purpose is to lower the barrier of entrance into multi-agent robotics. Similar to open-source software that provides access to high quality software, the Robotarium aims at providing universal access to state-of-the-art robotic infrastructure and enabling fast prototyping of multi-agent and swarm robotic algorithms.
